Why would I go on a trip with Wayfinders?
1. You want to go camping, but don’t know where to start.
Whether you’re looking to save money, connect with nature, or just try something new as a family, camping can feel overwhelming at first. That’s where we come in! We’ll help you plan your route, choose the right gear, organize meals, and find the perfect campground. Our goal is to make your first (or next!) camping trip simple, comfortable, and fun so you can focus on making memories, not managing logistics.
2. You want to connect—with your family and new friends.
Our group retreats bring families together through shared adventures. You’ll bond as a family unit while also meeting other like-minded parents and kids. Some retreats take place at group campsites, others at cozy hotels, lodges, or summer camp-style conference centers. Wherever we go, you’ll find a welcoming community and meaningful experiences that last far beyond the trip itself.
3. You want to grow and learn together.
Wayfinders isn’t just about where you go, it’s about what you take away. On select retreats, we invite guest experts to lead engaging conversations and workshops on topics like mental health, communication, financial literacy, and healthy relationships. Our goal is to create space for families to learn and grow together, while having an unforgettable adventure in the process.

If camping, do we need our own gear?
Nope! You don’t need to rush out and buy anything. If you’re new to camping or just testing the waters, we’ll help you find affordable rental options so you can try it out first. That way, if you decide camping isn’t your thing (no judgment!), you won’t be stuck with a pile of gear gathering dust in your garage.
Do you only do trips? Anything else you can do?
While we love getting outside, you don’t have to go on a trip with us to work with Wayfinders. If all you need is guidance, a few questions answered, or an experienced sounding board, we’re happy to hop on a call with you. We can brainstorm, help you check out gear, or offer tips based on our experience. And remember: your first call is always free!
